Artwork Curation for 2BR

2BR initially approached Art Contact while based at Bedford Row to provide artwork on a rental basis for an 18-month period prior to their relocation to new offices in Chancery Lane.

Following the rental term, 2BR invited Art Contact to review the new site. From the existing rental collection, several artworks were purchased to complement the new interior design. Additional pieces were then curated and installed for the meeting rooms and reception area to complete the scheme.

The company also had a small selection of existing artworks, for which Art Contact provided bespoke framing solutions to ensure a cohesive aesthetic throughout the main corridor spaces.

Over a two-year period, Art Contact delivered a comprehensive art curation and management service, helping 2BR create a refined and visually engaging workplace in their new Chancery Lane offices.

Hanover Investors Management LLP

Hanover Investors Management LLP engaged Art Contact to help them source suitable artworks for their new offices in London’s West End. As this was the first time that they had installed artworks in their offices they decided to rent short term to see if this was an appropriate route to make the offices feel more friendly and homely.

An extensive portfolio of artists were put forward and through discussion these were reduced to just 3 artists.

As the items were being rented, at least to start with, a portfolio was created showing available rental artworks by these artists. 8 artworks were selected which were then delivered and installed.

The original paintings by Marina Emphietzi went into the main reception and the original painting by Steve Johnston was installed in the boardroom. The photographs by Dominic Pote, which had been specially printed onto Di-bond, were installed in Hanover Investors Management LLP new offices.

Curry Lover Lover

Curry Lover Lover required art to help improve the ambience of their restaurant – The Tamarind in Potters Bar. They had recently refurbished the restaurant and needed art to further enhance the ambience.

Art Contact sourced and selected the art which the client decided to rent rather than buy as it helped their cash flow following the refurbishment.

A large mirror was also included to bring more light into an otherwise slightly dark area in the restaurant.

The artworks were framed very simply in polished wooden frames and installed out of hours at the request of the client.
