Gina Parr

Gina Parr is a Painter who also “paints with a camera” when traveling.

The image of the sea and the Artist’s thoughts about memory and identity are ever present in her work. Her childhood, spent diversely in wide-open spaces, fishing for Mackerel with her father, and her mother with her hoarding and mental health issues defined the Artist’s relationship to the sea and land, the uncertainty of the deep, the spirit and memory of the open space, evoking freedom and connectedness. She does not wish to recreate those experienced places, but to unearth the truth, to centralise the feelings and emotions that were and are present, to not be afraid of the material of her past. The Artist’s work is an expression of the intermingling of both joy and pain: the human condition.

Gina Parr was originally trained as a Fine Artist, graduating with a First Class BA Honours Degree.

She went on to Chelsea College of Art to study set design, leading to a 25 year career Production Designing many prestigious shows for television.

She returned to her Artist’s practice in 2007.

She has also lectured in art and design at Chelsea College of Art and Nottingham University, is widely exhibited in galleries and art fairs in the UK and Europe. She is an Associate member of The Society of Women Artists in London and has works held in collections Worldwide including; Keble College Oxford, Director Jestico + Whiles Architects London, President Boston’s Children’s Museum USA, Senior Economist Goldman Sachs, Argentex and Vedanta Headquarters in London, and Commissions in UAE, Belguim + London.

    Lucy Cooper

Lucy Cooper is a London-based artist and print maker whose current work explores the theme of reflection. Water reflections feature in many of her prints, while reflection in the broader sense of contemplation and consideration also runs through her art.

Lucy’s prints invariably feature everyday sights of her local Docklands neighbourhood, which she photographs and then develops digitally. With a lifelong fascination with water and its constantly changing colours, textures and moods, she is particularly interested in the way light plays on the surface of water and the distortions made by reflections in water and glass.

Recent work exploring reflections, colours and patterns in contemporary London architecture expands this to the built environment. Exploiting the seemingly infinite possibilities and potential of working digitally, Lucy Cooper explores unusual and often unexpected combinations of colour and pattern, transforming the original photograph into a semi-abstract artwork inviting the viewer to consider the subject from a different perspective.

These images are then output as limited edition fine art giclée prints.

      Dominic Pote

Dominic Pote is an artist working somewhere between the film maker and the still photographer. His exposures lasting as long as he keeps moving. Framed by the physical act of walking, his images are both literal and metaphorical journeys. Movements through space so that there remains something of the organic feel of their making. His work reveals the underlying spiritual significance of place. Whether an open landscape or the middle of a city, he presents us with the human experience. That which lies between movement and stillness, between the visible and invisible, between time and eternity.

Dominic Pote studied Photography at Nottingham Trent University from 1997 – 2000 where he attained a 1st class honours degree in Photography in Europe. During his second year his study was divided between two European institutes: Die Hochschule fur Grafik und Buchkunst – Leipzig, Germany and Famu School of film and photography, Prague, Czech Republic

Dominic’s large-scale works have been placed in many private homes as well as public and private collections. Commissioners of his work include Barclays Bank, The British Council and P&O.
