David Burns creates ceramic and metal wall art characterised by the elegance of porcelain clay and the forms and craftsmanship of slip casting. He designs wall art for private, corporate or public spaces.

The hand cast porcelain discs are miniature sculptures each with a unique relief and impression which plays with shadow and light. An intensity is created by juxtaposing black porcelain alongside the purity and delicacy of natural porcelain and brighter pink tones. The playful drip line contrasts with the controlled and meticulous grid arrangement of the discs.

Each piece created by David Burns is mounted onto a colour matched aluminium backboard and a black aluminium frame and can be commissioned to the client’s space and environment.
