Carlo’s work is concerned with the process of the art making and the function of being able to invest the work with a resonance of self through the application of materials: ‘Whatever the theme or subject matter of my pieces, I always endeavour to invest the work with a greater sense of self each time, looking for new ways to communicate and represent my self in the work.’
