The Waldron Health Centre - New Cross
The artist Christian Funnell was commissioned to create a sculpture entitled 'The Tree of Knowledge' for Bromley College. The sculpture, made out of galvanised steel stands high at 5 metres. The writing which embellishes the sculpture was inspired by a workshop held between the artist and the students and staff of Bromley College in October.
Ongoing project for Bromley College
The brief for this project was to bring the natural botanical world into the centre to provide a holistic and therapeutic environment within the space, creating a peaceful atmosphere for the patients. Art Contact sourced images of flora and fauna from three established photographers, using digital files to have the images printed onto a specialised wipe clean board. This utilitarian board was appropriate within a health care space in order to comply with hygeine standards.

Construction and Property Consultancy
Commissioned artwork for the Director's office at the newly developed Surrey HQ.
Brendan Kerr of Keltbray chose artworks which reflected the vibrancy and contemporary design of the head offices in Surrey. Some key pieces were chosen to represent the company's prominent activity in the construction sector. This was loosely interpreted through artworks which employ building materials such as glass, stone and steel as their medium and construction ideas such as balance and illusion as their concept.
